“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” -Mark Twain

Day 34: 2 September 2010
This is my old stomping ground at Oak Ridge. I had to pick my sister up from school today. I wish I'd had my real camera instead of the one on my phone because there were lots of squirrels and a bunny and lots of birds around out there on the grass.
Day 29: 28 August 2010
The party was a success. We cleaned up a bit, drove the girls home in the afternoon, and then had to drive back up to take down the decorations, bring everything home, and do the final clean up. When most everything was loaded into the car, I ventured out into the woods behind the cabin despite the bear sitings and the fact that there has been a mountain lion roaming about. I loved the way the light was shining through all the pine trees. That has got to be one of the greatest scents ever. I love being in the woods. I took quite a few pictures, but this one of the little sapling was my favorite.
Day 28: 27 August 2010
This is the s'more bar we did for the party. We had sterno (sp?) cans and a whole plethora of marshmallows, candies, and toppings to make different recipes. It was so fun. I wish I could've gotten more pictures of it, but mom sent the girls out before I was ready. Afterwards, they watched The Messengers outside in the woods on the projector. They screamed so much it was hilarious. The girls were having a good time.
Day 27: 26 August 2010
Today, my mom and I went up to the cabin to get it all decorated for Kristina's party tomorrow. This is the candy/snack table. We made those candy trees; they were a bit unstable but looked great and worked out well. We decorated the whole outside and inside. It looked so good. I'm excited for the girls to see it tomorrow.
Day 25: 24 August 2010
No picture for today, but it is my sister's birthday! She is turning 16-craziness. Our family is getting too old.
Day 24: 23 August 2010
I can't believe I haven't blogged since the 22nd of August. In reality, today is the 7th of September. I must admit I have not been so great at taking pictures. It's hard because when I was reading about starting Project 364, the guy was like just take your camera with you wherever you go, but the problem with that is I never go anywhere. I sit around the house most days. Today I went to Mikunis with my mom and dad. It is Japanese food and it is delicious. I got the usual-box #5. I wish it were closer so we could go more often!
